In addition to identifying content and tagging it appropriately, StyleFinder's inbuilt language processor flags inconsistencies in use of language, spelling and style. Select the “Grammar” menu to review and resolve the results from StyleFinder. The results show up in a pane on the left of the editor and are synchronized with the manuscript content on the right. You will be able to quickly navigate and resolve:  

  • inconsistencies in style and language,
  • Spelling issues/suggestions, and
  • Inconsistencies in use of abbreviations,

The validation checks cover the following:

  • Pre-edit rules, including identifying missing elements and hyphenation errors
  • Numbers that should be spelled out vs. represented as numerals
  • Spell check using multiple dictionaries
  • Use of abbreviations
  • Grammatical errors
  • URL Validations
